Alternatives

Creatify alternatives

What to use instead of Creatify, sorted by what you are leaving over — the video meter, the product-page scrape, or the fact that a script is not Meta ad copy.

How this was put together

We make best-in-slot, and best-in-slot is one of the options here — so read this the way you would read any comparison written by one of the sides. What we can do about that is show our working: every claim about the tools below is footnoted to the public page it came from — pricing, docs, help centre — all read on August 18, 2026, and quoted rather than characterised wherever the wording matters. Where we could not verify something, the page says so instead of guessing.

Several of these beat best-in-slot outright at the job they are built for, and the page says which and at what. If we have a detail wrong or stale — including if you work there — [email protected] and it gets fixed.

Start with the thing that decides this page: if you are leaving Creatify because you want better or cheaper video, three of the tools below make video and one — ours — makes none at all. Skip our section. It will not be the answer.

The other reasons people look are narrower and less about format. Creatify's scrape is aimed at product listings, so a service or software site gives it thin material. Its output is a script for the voiceover, which is not the primary text, headline and description a Meta ad needs. And the meter is measured in seconds: video costs credits by duration and revisions cost again, with the free-revision perk on Pro voided by exactly the changes you would want to make.

Below: the reason, then the tools that answer it, then what each one costs you. Every claim links to the page it came from.

Why people look for one

Start here rather than with the list. Which of these is your reason decides which tool below is the right answer.

A script is not ad copy
Creatify's URL-to-video output is a script — hook, voiceover, burned-in captions — and across the documented video and scripts APIs there is no primary text, headline or description in the response. Those are the fields a Meta ad actually needs next to the creative, and the only place Creatify claims to write them is the Performance Agent marketing page, with no mechanism documented. If you are writing that copy by hand for every video, that is the gap.2,3,12
Your site is not a product listing
Their supported-links article names “Amazon product link, Shopify product link and App store link” as what the scraper is built for, and notes that sites with firewalls can block it. A SaaS, an agency, a clinic or a studio spreads its argument across several pages, and a one-page listing scrape starves on exactly that shape of site.1,6
The meter runs by the second, and revisions cost again
Published rates are 5 credits per 15 seconds of video in the platform — the API bills 5 per 30 seconds for the same work — and revisions are 3 credits per 15 seconds. The free-revision perk on Pro applies only if you do not change the script, the avatar or the voice, which are the three things anyone actually changes. Their terms also state payments are non-refundable and subscriptions auto-renew.4,7,10
You need statics for feed, not just short-form video
Statics exist — image ads with headline text rendered in, and a tool that reformats one image into twelve IAB banner sizes — but they sit alongside a product whose centre of gravity is video, and the free tier is watermarked and 9:16 only. If most of your placements are feed and the ads you need are stills with proper copy, you are buying the wrong half of the product.5,8,11
You run more than one brand
Starter includes one Brand Space and one seat; Pro adds up to five seats; Enterprise is defined on their own pricing page as six or more seats or two or more Brand Spaces. For an agency or a multi-brand operator that means the second brand is a sales conversation rather than a setting.9

The shortlist

Not ranked. Each entry says who it is right for and what it costs you to pick it, and every claim links to the page it came from.

  • AdCreative.ai

    Full comparison
    Pick it if
You want volume with a way to choose between it: unlimited generations, each scored 0–100 with the best surfaced first, an attention heatmap, a real layer editor with custom fonts, and four separate video paths including UGC avatars and scene-based storytelling.13,14,15
    What it costs you
It does not publish ads — pushing a creative adds the file to your account's media library and you build the campaign and ad set yourself. Credits are spent on download rather than generation, they expire monthly, and cancellation must happen at least seven days before a monthly renewal.
  • Canva (Canva Grow)

    Full comparison
    Pick it if
You want an editor you can actually fix things in, and a publishing pipeline behind it. Grow offers three concepts, image or video-avatar ads, an AI copy draft, and publishing to Meta, TikTok and LinkedIn — campaigns and ad sets included, paused by default — with Magic Layers turning a generated ad into editable layers inside a full design suite.16,17,18
    What it costs you
Generating and editing both spend one monthly AI allowance, per member rather than pooled, and Free has no access to the Ultra tier that video-avatar ads use. Ad creation counts as a Premium use — 20 a month on Free, 200 on Pro — so heavy weeks run into the meter rather than a bill.
  • Pick it if
You want avatar video and someone else to run the campaign. Zeely makes UGC-style video and talking heads, and will launch the ads on its own Meta partner account — you pay the budget at their checkout and their team reviews the creative before Meta sees it.19,20,21
    What it costs you
That path costs 12% of ad spend, halved with their annual Booster, and the ads run in their account rather than yours. Paid campaigns are Meta only, per-action credit costs are shown in-app rather than published, and there is no documented team or workspace model.

Where best-in-slot fits

Only worth reading if the ads you need are stills. best-in-slot makes no video of any kind — no avatars, no animation, no motion — and that is not a roadmap item.

What it does instead is finish the static. Paste your website once; it reads the site, learns what you sell and who buys it, and one click then produces a concept, a hero image, that image re-rendered into all four Meta shapes, and up to five primary texts, five headlines and a description written from the image. The copy is the part Creatify's video pipeline leaves you holding, and here it arrives attached.

Then it publishes: one multi-asset ad into an ad set you choose, paused by default, with each shape routed to the placements it fits. 10 credits a finished ad, plans from $19–$169, 50 free credits at signup without a card, and no per-second meter to think about.

The realistic arrangement, if you run both formats, is not a switch at all: video from a video tool, statics from here.

Creatify alternatives: common questions

Which Creatify alternative writes Meta ad copy?

best-in-slot writes it as part of the ad — up to five primary texts, five headlines and a description, generated from the image and carried into the published ad. Canva Grow drafts copy too, at the publish step, one field at a time with a Generate button. AdCreative.ai has a dedicated ad-text generator, though you assemble the ad yourself afterwards.

Is there a free alternative to Creatify?

Canva lists ad creation and ad-platform publishing as included on all plans including Free — its AI-ad-generator page says free access is limited, so treat that as contested — subject to a monthly AI allowance with no access to the Ultra tier that video-avatar ads use. best-in-slot gives new accounts 50 credits — about 5 finished ads — with no card. Creatify's own free plan is 10 credits a month, watermarked and 9:16 only; AdCreative.ai's trial is 7 days and requires a card.

What works best for a SaaS or service business?

Something that reads a website rather than a product listing. Creatify's supported-links article points at Amazon, Shopify and App Store pages, which is the shape of source its scrape is built for. best-in-slot maps a whole site — up to fifty pages — and writes one business summary and a set of audience profiles from it, which suits a business whose case is spread across several pages.

Which alternatives still make video?

AdCreative.ai (product animation, UGC avatars, text-to-video and scene-based storytelling), Canva Grow (video-avatar ads on its Ultra AI tier) and Zeely (avatar and talking-head video, plus image animation). best-in-slot makes none of it.

Can best-in-slot make UGC-style ads at all?

Only as stills. Its style library includes native, feed-looking looks — including a UGC video-still with a caption overlay — but they are static images, not video. If you need a person speaking to camera, that is Creatify, Zeely or Canva, not us.
