A brand is one business with its own logo, colours, products and audiences. Lite includes 1 brand, Starter includes 1 brand, Growth includes 5 brands, Agency includes 10 brands. The free tier includes one. Moving up a plan raises the limit straight away, and dropping down never removes brands you have already made — you just can't add new ones past the new limit.
